A great example of a ‘makeover garden’ where a deck replaced old, tired concrete. Using the same material throughout and giving careful attention to the light we created built-in seating and planters to transform this small space into a relaxing, quiet haven that catches the sun at the end of the day.

The planting palette is delicate with a long season of interest and low maintenance to fit in with the owner’s busy life.

As always we used as many existing plants as possible and worked with the principle of ‘right plant, right place’ to ensure the planting was suited to the conditions of the site.
